Get 2 Months of Spotify Premium on PS4 for Just $2 in New Promo

Curious about PlayStation Music? Spotify, whose streaming service is behind PlayStation Music, has launched a new promotion that lets you get two months of Spotify Premium for just $2. That's a pretty good deal, considering Spotify Premium normally goes for $10/month.

Note that this offer is not available to current or lapsed Premium subscribers, only new ones (via Slickdeals). Here are the instructions for how to sign up and get the $2 promo price, as written by Spotify:
  1. Fire up your PlayStation
  2. Go to PlayStation Music on the content launcher on PS4, or find Spotify in the Music section on PS3
  3. Log in or create a new account
PlayStation Music, which lets you listen to music in the background while you game, launched in March 2015 and is proving to be very popular. Users streamed 5 billion songs in its first year. The top artists and tracks from PlayStation Music's first year have also been announced--Drake led the way.
Background music support is also coming to Xbox One through a future update, though it remains to be seen if this will be done through a partnership with Spotify or by leveraging Microsoft's own Groove service. For its part, Sony has said Spotify may not be exclusive to PlayStation forever.
