Tales of Berseria will be released outside of Japan in early 2017, Bandai Namco announced today.
Berseria, the latest entry in the long-running Tales series, was first announced back in December 2015. While Japan's release (slated for this August) will see it come to PS4, PS3, and PC, in the West we'll only be seeing the PS4 and PC versions.
The release window was confirmed today by the official Tales Twitteraccount. Additionally, the series' official blog provided new details on aspects of the game's combat system. Specifically, today's post explains the Switch Blast system, which allows you to designate one character as the backup for another, and reveals some of the abilities that characters Eizen and Eleanor have at their disposal.
Bandai Namco also shared some background information about those two characters, as well as Aifread's pirates. You can read more about them here.

The most recent entry in the Tales series was 2015's Tales of Zestiria, which came to North America and Europe about 10 months after Japan.
